Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders: Players who can make the difference in IPL Match No. 47

rrshanewatsondrivesthroughoffsideRajasthan Royals would like to continue their winning run when they face Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Friday. With the opening duo of Shane Watson and Ajinkya Rahane in brilliant form, RR would be looking to pile up a huge total. However, facing the likes of Sunil Narine and Rajat Bhatia on their home turf is not going to be an easy task. Gautam Gambhir and Manvinder Bisla will have to come out good against the pace battery of James Faulkner and Siddharth Trivedi if KKR want to win this encounter.

Here we bring to you the Players to watch out for in the match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Gautam Gambhir: Gambhir has not performed well in last few matches but he needs to come up with some strong performance. This is going to be KKR’s last home game and he would be looking to finish it off on a positive note. His captaincy will be under scanner as he has not been inspiring in this edition of IPL.

Sunil Narine: Narine has been in brilliant form and even in the last match he bowled his four overs cost just 14 runs. But bowlers on the other end have not been able to maintain the pressure. He needs to bowl one of his brilliant spell that can turn the tables for KKR to earn two points.

Eoin Morgan: Morgan’s performance would determine the fate of KKR against Rajasthan Royals. Morgan has played some fantabulous knocks this season but hasn’t been able to finish any game for KKR. Morgan needs to stay till the end if KKR desires to win against RR.

Rajat Bhatia: Bhatia was brilliant with the bat against DD as he scored run-a-ball 26 but he needs to be more effective with the ball. He has picked up wickets but has not been economical. His variations can be effective on sluggish wicket of Eden Gardens.

Manvinder Bisla: Bisla has played couple of heroics in past few games and would be looking to relish his stint at Eden Gardens. His performance will matter the most because he has been the only batsmen who had performed in past few matches.

Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Shane Watson: Watson has been in brilliant form both with the ball and the bat this season. His magnificent knock of 41 runs guided his team to a sensational victory in last match. He also chipped in with three wickets against RCB. He is again going to be the trumpcard for RR in this match.

Ajinkya Rahane: Rahane has not been in the best of form in last three-four matches but he needs to pull up his socks and put up a good show which he did it in first half of IPL-6. He needs to spend some time at the crease which he has not done in recent matches.

Stuart Binny: Binny has been impressive so far both with the bat as well as ball. His penultimate ball four sealed the victory for RR in the last match. He has all the potential to do much better and in this game, his bowling will be much handier than it was in previous game at Jaipur.

James Faulkner
: Faulkner has bowled brilliantly this season and has picked up maximum wickets for his team. He was very expensive in last match but he needs to put up a good show when he will take on the formidable batting line-up of KKR.

Siddharth Trivedi
: Trivedi bowl brilliantly in the last match and he finished off with the figures of 20/1. His accurate line and length will come into play when RR will go for attack in the first six overs of power play. He can dismantle any batting line-up but he needs to add more pace to his bowling for that.
