Rajasthan Royals are all set to take on done and dusted Delhi Daredevils at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur. With some brilliant form of Rahul Dravid, Shane Watson and Ajinkya Rahane, Rajasthan Royals look to be a strong side in this contest. But the likes of David Warner and Virender Sehwag can easily dismantle the bowling attack led by James Faulkner and with Irfan Pathan finding some rhythm, DD would be looking to make a strong impression in this crunch match of IPL-6.
Here we bring to you the players to watch out for in the match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Daredevils (DD).
Rajasthan Royals (RR)
Rahul Dravid: Dravid played a sensational knock of 58 runs off 40 balls in last match and gave the good foundation to his team. His experience has helped the youngsters on all fronts and his faith in their ability has made his side even much stronger.
Shane Watson: Watson has all that it takes to make him one of the best all-rounders of IPL. He needs to be a bit more consistent with the bat which he has failed to do so in last couple of matches.
Stuart Binny: Binny played a superb cameo against Pune warriors as he smashed 32 runs off 13 balls and led his side to a much-needed win. His all-round performance has added strength to the Rajasthan Royals and if he continues to play like this then RR will make it to the play-offs quite easily.
James Faulkner: Faulkner has done some brilliant bowling in this edition of IPL and has all that ability to make a difference. He is the leading wicket-taker for RR this season and if he continues with his lethal bowling, then purple cap is not much far away.
Ajinkya Rahane: Rahane displayed an awesome stroke play in last match where he scored 67 runs off just 48 balls. He just needs to be consistent and give his team those much needed good start quite regularly. If he can bat throughout the innings then RR will end up with much more runs that they have scored in last few matches.
Delhi Daredevils (DD)
David Warner: Warner has played some brilliant innings so far and would be looking to make the most of the conditions at Jaipur which is quite suitable for batting.
Virender Sehwag: Sehwag has not fired quite consistently so far in this IPL but this is high-time that he should smack another blistering knock at Sawai Man Singh Stadium. Pitch will surely assist him in the stroke play but he just needs to be bit patient and then he can go hard on bowlers
Unmukt Chand: Chand has shown glimpses of his class but he needs to be a bit more watchful especially after a good start. He has played some fine innings in the past and would be looking to continue that good run.
Umesh Yadav: Yadav hasn’t been as lethal as he could and he has to prove his mettle before he goes for Champions Trophy. He can make a good use of the wicket as it might help him in getting that bounce which he looks for most of the time to trouble the batsmen.
Irfan Pathan: Pathan has been brilliant with the bat as well as ball. He is a great asset to the Daredevils with his all-round skills. If he gets those in-swingers right then the right-handed batsmen of RR might find themselves in deep trouble.
