Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to disguise the opposition with their new mystery spinner Sacithra Senanayake who will share the spin department with mystery bowler of the last season, Sunil Narine.

Vijay Dahiya, assistant-coach of KKR, spilled the beans on the inclusion of this new bowler and said, “Sachithra is a very different bowler and that’s the only reason we have picked him up. He can disguise even the best in the game. It’s not so easy to pick his deliveries and for sure he will strengthen our spin department”

Meanwhile, Sunil Narine, who picked up 24 wickets in his 15 appearances for KKR last season, joined the team on Sunday evening.  Sri-Lankan offie, Senanayake, had been an overnight sensation after he picked up16 wickets in the 2011-12 Sri Lanka Premier League.

Meanwhile according to reports, Jacques Kallis and Yusuf Pathan will join the squad on Monday.

In today’s practice session, Brett Lee had a close watch on all the players. Brett Lee has replaced the sultan of swing-bowling, Wasim Akram as a bowling mentor of KKR.

"Brett Lee is looking an absolute fit in his new avtar but it’s always difficult to fill the big shoes of Wasim Akram. Akram had tons of experience behind him and that’s what helped our bowler in the last season. I hope Lee will be as instrumental as Akram was. Lee’s  role will be more of a player," added Dahiya.
