Irani Cup: Raina's ton takes ROI to a strong position

Mumbai: Suresh Raina scored a brilliant hundred as Rest Of India's score head towards 500. Raina made his 11th first-class century. He cut Nayar for two to complete the ton and shared an unbroken 135 runs partnership with Abhimanyu Mithun, who is unbeaten on 46 at lunch on day two.


Earlier on day one, opener Murali Vijay stroked his way to his second successive century in the Irani Cup. With good contributions from Manoj Tiwary (37) and Ambati Rayudu (51), RoI ended day one at 330 for five.
