Chennai: Australia won the toss and decided to bat in the first Test of the four-match series against India at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday.

Harbhajan Singh makes his 100th test while Pragyan Ojha has been left out of the squad in favour of The Turbanator. Bhuvneshwar Kumar makes his debut in the Test for India while Moses Henriques who earns his baggy green.

The Australians have decided to play to their strengths by going in with three seamers and just the one spinner in Nathan Lyon.
