New Delhi: Pragyan Ojha ‘s impressive performance in the on-going Test series has helped him to hold on to his fifth position in the bowler’s chart in the Tests rankings list released by the ICC.
While Ojha is the sole Indian bowler in the top-10, none of the Indian batsmen feature on the top-10 list.
Ojha who took 14 wickets in two matches has 767 rating points to his credit.
Meanwhile Graeme Swann who has been instrumental for England in the series against Indi has jumped six places to take the sixth spot.
Dale Steyn of South Africa leads the chart followed by Saeed Ajmal of Pakistan.
Among Indian batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar is placed at 18th, while Cheteshwar Pujara moved up three places on 21st.
Australia skipper Michael Clarke reclaimed the numero uno position in batsmen ranking after scoring his second back-to-back century against South Africa in Adelaide.
He is being trailed by Kumar Sangkkara of Sri Lanka and South African Hashim Amla.
