New Delhi: Legendary Australian captain and middle-order batsman Steve Waugh criticized Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and said that the team should be able to negotiate any condition if they want to be the best in the world.

Dhoni earlier asked the curators to "doctor the pitches" and wanted the pitches to turn from day one. Waugh said that Dhoni’s comments were negative. He said that if theteam needs to be the best in the world than one should be ready to play in any conditions and not ask for things that suits your style of play.

Waugh gave his example and said that he never had a word with the curator in his stint as Australia’s captain.

Waugh said that the Indian team is favorites to win the four match Test series against England and it is always hard to beat India in
India.

On the youngsters in the Indian team, Waugh said that it was great sign for the Indian team. Waugh predicted that India will win the series 3-0.
