New Delhi: Amol Muzumdar became the highest run-getter in Ranji Trophy history after he scored a ton against Himachal Pradesh for Andhra Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy.

Mazumdar needed 68 runs to overcome Wasim Jaffer who had 8320 runs, Mazumdar’s innings of 101 runs ensured that he surpasses Jaffer’s tally.

Mazumdar hit 15 boundaries in his innings and this was his 24th hundred in Ranji circuit.
