Mumbai: Keeping Shiv Sena’s threat against Pakistan cricket team in mind, union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde said that Indian government is committed to providing complete security to the visiting cricket team.

"I am aware of the threat to the Pakistan cricket team. The Centre will provide adequate security cover to the visiting cricket team,’ Shinde was quoted in The Times of India.

We will ensure that it would be a smooth affair and no event is disrupted. It's all reciprocal, when the Indian cricket team goes abroad, they too take adequate care and provide top security cover to our team," Shinde added.
