New Delhi: Pakistan will tour India in December for a limited-over series beginning December 25 as the Home Ministry cleared the tour and said that the Indian government will provide foolproof security to the visiting team.
BCCI senior official and Union Minister Rajiv Shukla said that BCCI delegation discussed the security and logistical issues with the Home Secretary and the tour is on.
The series will witness three ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals between December 2012 and January 2013.
The one-day matches are most likely to be played in Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi and the T20s in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
India-Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since Pakistan's tour of India in 2007.
