In the second semifinals of the ongoing Champions League Twenty20, Sydney Sixers from Australia will take on Titans from South Africa at Centurion. The winner of the match will face Highveld Lions who confirmed their final spot by defeating Delhi Daredevils.

Both teams have seen some good results in the league stage and it should be one interesting contest. Sydney Sixers have been the best team of the tournament and have not lost a single match till now.

Titans on the other hand has seen mixed results, they were good in some matches and were ordinary in one.

Sydney Sixers:

Steven Smith: This youngster is quickly making a name for himself. He had a brilliant IPL season with Pune Warriors and has already made some important contribution for the Sydney Sixers. He is an intelligent cricketer and plays according to the situations. He is also a brilliant fielder.

Brad Haddin: Haddin has played some scintillating innings in the tournament. In the absence of Watson, it is the responsibility of Haddin to provide Australia quick runs and he is capable of doing that. Haddin in the tournament has looked to attack from the first ball and it will be really important for Titans to stop him.

Mitchell Starc: He has been the best bowler of the tournament and is on top of the wicket-takers list. Starc has bowled well in all the matches and has looked very dangerous. He picks wickets with the new ball and that has helped Sydney. He is equally effective with the old ball.

Pat Cummins: Cummings has struggled bowling with the new ball but he has been absolutely fantastic with the old ball picking wickets in the middle overs. Cummins has a sharp bouncer and can rattler any batsmen with the pace he generates.

Titans:

Jacques Rudolph: He is the in-form batsmen for Titans and is in the list of the highest run-scorer. Rudolph has played some big innings and will be looking to play one in this match. Titans will need all his experience against what is the best attack of the tournament.

Martin van Jaarsveld: He has struggled in the tournament and hasn’t done much with the bat. Martin van Jaarsveld is an experienced campaigner and will know that it is time that he delivers. He has a good T20 strike-rate and can hit a cricket ball.

Roelof van der Merwe: He is an exciting character on the field and is an ultimate competitor. He has bowled well in the tournament and has picked some wickets as well. He will be crucial for Titans in the middle overs. He is quite handy with the bat as well and can play some good innings.

Alfonso Thomas: It is a big match and Titans will be hoping that their big players deliver in this match. Thomas is very experienced but his performance has been below par. He will have to be at his best against the strong Sydney Sixers’ batting line-up.
