Ojha hurts his neck during batting practice, released from hospital after brief check-up

Colombo: Pragyan Ojha was rushed to hospital after the Indian left-arm spinner hurt his neck during a batting practice session at Premdasa Stadium in Colombo on Thursday.

The nature of injury was unclear but according to reports it isn’t that serious, as he was released after a brief check up at the Colombo's Lanka Hospital.

Ojha has two days to recover ahead of the third ODI against Sri Lanka on Saturday. He played as the second spinner alongside R Ashwin in the first two games of the series in Hambantota.

He conceded over seven runs per over in the first ODI, which India won, while he bowled just five balls in the second One-dayer that India lost.
