Sardara Singh makes it to the All Stars Team

New Delhi: Star Indian midfielder Sardara Singh is the lone Asian player to have made it to the illustrious 2011 All Stars Men’s Team of the International Hockey Federation which includes top hockey players from around the globe. The list which was decided by public vote on the FIH website features18 players and two coaches. Sardara Singh has made it to the team for the second consecutive time.

Sardara Singh who plays at the centre half position and was judged the player of the tournament in 2010 Azlan Shah Cup is also the youngest player ever to captained India in 2008 Azlan Shah Cup. Apart from the playing for India, he captained the Chandigarh Dynamos in the Premier Hockey League and also serves as DSP in Punjab Police.
