Bangalore: Riding on good performances by Gurjinder Singh and Akashdeep Singh, Punjab cruised into the quarterfinals of the 2nd Hockey India Senior National Championship here at the KSHA Stadium here today.
The duo of Gurjinder and Akashdeep scored three goals apiece and helped their team beat Services Sports Control Board 7-2 to book their spot in the last eight.
