“Staging the PSPB Golf Championship in this historic oil town of Digboi is relevant as the golf links is steeped in history, just as is the Digboi Refinery. Digboi Golf Links is a natural course with an interesting and challenging layout of 72 par. I am sure the Golfers will soak in the scenic beauty around the course while also countering the challenges the course has to offer,” said Barun Barpujari, Executive Director, IOCL (AOD) and Chairman, Organising Committee. In a first of its kind, this edition of the PSPB is being staged as a carbon neutral event.

The Digboi Club Golf Links has been the home for many reputed golf events including the IndianOil Xtra Premium Masters Golf, a professional event which is being held from the past 13 years. The course has been given a facelift and is primed to host the mega event. The drains (nalas) which criss-cross the course will test the golfers’ accuracy.
