Tata Open Golf from November 22-25

tata openJamshedpur: Jamshedpur is all set to stage the 11th TATA Open Golf from 22nd-25th November, 2012. The four-day tournament will be hosted at the Beldih and Golmuri Golf Courses. The event is being held under the aegis of Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) for the seventh time. The Pro-Am will be played on 21st November, 2012. The prize money for the event is Rs. 50 lakh.

The tournament boasts of an exciting line-up of top Indian professionals such as defending champion Vinod Kumar, former champions Mukesh Kumar, Shamim Khan (current Rolex Rankings leader), Gurki Shergill as well as other leading professionals like Rashid Khan, Harendra Gupta, Om Prakash Chouhan, Abhijit Singh Chadha, Shankar Das, Vijay Kumar, Feroz Ali Mollah and Harmeet Kahlon, to name a few.

The top foreign golfers in the field include Mithun Perera (Sri Lanka), Anura Rohana (Sri Lanka), Kunal Bhasin (Australia) and Md Zamal Hossain Mollah (Bangladesh). The local challenge will be led by Jamshedpur’s Navtez Singh.

There are 118 professional golfers participating in the tournament.
