Shane Watson is back in the squad and we are expecting him to come all guns blazing: Mickey Arthur

Shane Watson has arrived and is expected to give some power-packed performance in the for the fourth and final Test of the series that is to be played at Ferozeshah Kotla from Friday. Australia has suffered three back-to-back defeats and has lost the series and are desperate to end this on winning note and Watson can surely provide them that much needed support.

According to the recent reports in Times of India, the coldness between Coach Mickey Arthur and Watson has eased out in past few days. Arthur was quoted saying that, “I am happy that Shane is back in the squad and we are expecting him to come all guns blazing.
Shane's been exceptional over the last week, we've had numerous conversations with him and things are now settled down. We are very much focused on final Test of the series,” he added.

On the other hand, Watson said, “I have my own opinion on this incident and I feel suspension was just too harsh. Things had been sorted out and if Michael Clarke is not fit for the final Test then I am ready to lead the side," he added.

Meanwhile, Michael Hussey has ruled out the every possibility of making a comeback for the Ashes. Earlier Australian Coach, Mickey Arthur was quoted by Sydney Morning Herald that, “Hussey has been the backbone of Australian middle-order and if he wants to return to International cricket I will surely welcome him without a second thought.”

Hussey took his retirement from all forms of International cricket in January this year. He amassed 6235 Test runs at a terrific average of 51.52. He was overwhelmed with the response of Arthur and said, "It's extremely flattering. I feel very lucky to have been able to leave on my own terms and leave when I wanted to. But I've now moved on and I really don't want to be back in that pressure-cooker environment, particularly leading into the Ashes," he was quoted by Sydney Morning Herald.

"It's going to be an extremely stressful time for all the players after three consecutive losses in India. We need to give them some time and then only we can decide whether Australian cricket is moving in right direction or not. It’s a learning curve for them not just as an individual but how to gel with each other when team is having a tough time on tour and this will give them a preview of the Ashes tour is going to be this summer,” he added.
