FC Pune City unveils complete team in home town

Indian-contingent-of-FC-Pune-City-at-the-merchandise-launchPune: Rajesh Wadhawan Group-owned Pune franchise of the Indian Super League (ISL) – FC Pune City - today unveiled its full players' list to the city, along with the official team jersey for the inaugural ISL 2014. Following the selection of 5 international players in the draft yesterday, the team today has a full squad comprising 10 international players and 14 domestic players. 11 of the 14 Indian players were present at the unveiling of the team launch this afternoon at the city.

This is the first time that the 11 Indian players have come together at Pune as they prepare themselves to represent FC Pune City in the upcoming ISL. With the international player draft concluding in Mumbai yesterday, FC Pune City now has the full team in place, with the perfect blend of domestic Indian talent and international football players.



The team of FC Pune City is as follows – former Juventus striker David Trezguet as the marquee player, Bruno Cirillo, Emanuele Belardi, Daniele Magliocchetti, Davide Colomba, Lenny Rodrigues, Dharmaraj Ravanan, Ashutosh Mehta, Joaquim Abranches, Pritam Kotal, Manish Maithani, Israil Gurung, Deepak Devrani, Tapan Maity, Arindam Bhattacharya, Anupam Sarkar, Pratik Shinde, Lalit Thapa, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Andrés Felipe González Ramírez, Saïdou Mady Panandetiguiri, Omar Andres Rodriguez Martinez, Iván Bolado Palacios and Park Kwang-II. The team has also got on board Former Serie A Italian midfielder Franco Colomba as the head coach.

Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex (Balewadi Stadium) will serve as the home ground for the team. The Balewadi stadium is a new-age international sports complex with a seating capacity of 12000 spectators. It is also one of the 8 stadiums selected for the Fifa 2017 Youth World Cup. The team will commence their practice sessions from 24th August 2014 and will utilize facilities at the Symbiosis University, Infosys Pune DC (Development Centre) and Balewadi Stadium.
