Yuvraj Singh backYuvraj Singh was at his element best as he went on to score his highest ODI score when he hit 150 against England at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. He has also been included in the Indian squad for the T20 series against England. The veteran southpaw played his last T20s against the Aussies in World T20 last year.

Yuvraj Singh is an explosive batsman in T20 format as well. He is the ‘Sixer King’ and the only batsman to hit six sixes in an over against England in World T20, 2007. In T20s, Yuvi has scored 1134 runs in 55 matches. And he has also picked up 28 wickets. His best of 77 not out came against Australia at Rajkot.

1. 77 not out Vs Australia at Rajkot (October 13, 2013): The best score of Yuvraj Singh’s T20 career. The only T20 game played against Australia when they toured India in 2013. Australia batted first and scored huge 201 runs in 20 overs. Chasing the big target, India lost 4 wickets for just 100 runs on the board. It was Yuvraj Singh’s unbeaten 77 runs that helped India to win this game by 6 wickets and 2 balls to spare. Yuvi also won the Man-of-the-Match award for his wonderful contribution.

2. 72 Vs Pakistan at Ahmedabad (December 28, 2012): After losing the 1st match, India arrived at Ahmedabad for the 2nd match and to save the series. India batted first in that important T20 game. After losing the top 3 batsmen cheaply, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni shared a massive 97 runs that brought India back into the game. Due to this much needed partnership, India posted a good total of 192 runs in 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh also contributed with ball in that game. He picked the 1 wicket in his two overs. That helped india win the match by 11 runs. Yuvraj Singh was named the Man-of-the-Match for his all-round performance.

3. 60 not out and 3 wickets Vs Sri Lanka in Mohali December 12, 2009): This was another all-round performance from Yuvraj Singh in 2nd T20 against the Lankans. India wanted to save series because they had lost the 1st T20 game. In all important game Indian bowlers gave away 206 runs to Sri Lankan batsmen. Yuvraj Singh was the only Indian bowler to who was economical -- in his 3 overs he only gave 23 and picked up 3 crucial wickets. While chasing the big total, Yuvraj Singh also contributed with the bat. India chased down the 206 with the contributions of Virender Sehwag, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. India won the match by 6 wickets and 5 balls to spare. Yuvraj Singh was the Man-of-the Match for his 3 wickets and his 60 runs.

4. 41 Vs Bangladesh in Nottingham (June 6, 2009): The was the first game for India in World T20, 2012. India batted first and posted 180 runs in 20 overs. With Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh also contributed 41 runs in that match. Bangladesh could only manage 155 in their 20 overs. That meant India won the match by 25 runs. It was a good start to their World T20 campaign.

5. 58 Vs England in World T20, (Septmber 9, 2007): This was the match where Yuvraj Singh smashed 6 sixes in an over. Yuvraj Singh also reached his fastest fifty in T20 cricket in this match. His six sixes off Stuart Broad are still on the mind and heart of his fans. India ended up 218; it’s their highest total in T20s. India won the match by 18 runs. Yuvraj Singh was the Player-of-the-Match for his outstanding display.
