New Delhi: India have produced some good captains in the recent past, including Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni. Now Test captain Virat Kohli is also following in the footsteps of Ganguly and Dhoni, leading from the front and helping the team win matches for India. Kohli took over the role of Test captaincy after Dhoni decided to quit in December 2014, after which the Delhi player has been instrumental in shaping the team for the longer format. 

However, Dhoni still captains the ODI and the T20 team, and Kohli is expected to lead the team in all formats after the Jharkhand man quits international cricket.

Two such players with contrasting approaches, leading the side, comparisons are bound to happen. If Dhoni is known for his cool attitude, Kohli is a much aggressive captain who does not mind having a go at opponents. But former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming feels it is not right to compare the two players, assuring India have a great future with Kohli in the forefront.

"I'm quite happy with Virat's playing style. We can never compare Dhoni and Virat, even as players and captains. Dhoni can hide his emotions, whereas, Virat is a lot more emotional on the field. He takes time to calm down his temperament. Both players thoroughly enjoy the sport. Virat is a star in the making and his future would be pretty good," Asian Age quoted Stephen Fleming as saying.

Dhoni and Fleming are quite close to one another as they were part of the IPL from their days in Chennai Super Kings, where they also brought glory to the franchise. The duo once again reunited, after CSK were banned, as they are presently part of the Rising Pune Supergiants.
Fleming is aware of the big rise of Dhoni in international cricket, and the former NZ captain is also particularly interested in watching MS Dhoni's biopic."I can't wait to watch Dhoni's biopic. Though I've been closely associated with Dhoni, it will be interesting to watch his story on the big screen," Fleming said.
