Paris: Defending French Open winner Li Na said she was focusing on the preparation for the first round's games, reiterating her willingness to lead a normal life after winning the French title last season.

As the first Chinese to win a tennis grand slam title, Li Na said Friday that there was a change of attitude towards her after her victory in the French Open, reported Xinhua.

"I really want to remain the same. But, it's tough for me because after I won last year my life changed. So, I had to change some things," Li Na said on Roland Garros website.

"I think because I was the first Chinese player to win a Grand Slam, so many people thought she's not normal," she added.

Li became the favourite sporting figure in China and she has been honoured by the Chinese government for her unprecedented win of Grand Slam singles title. (IANS)
