New Delhi: As many as 82 players, including many domestic players, would be seen in action in the two-day qualifying rounds of six days 1st ACC Cup Men’s And Women’s Open One Lac (Rs.1, 00,000) Prize Money Tennis Championship-2012, starting on Saturday, at the BBD Synthetic Tennis Court in Gomti Nagar organized by Sports Development Society (SDS) Tennis Academy.
The tournament held under the aegis of UP Tennis Association will be held from November 12 to 17.
Some of prominent players namely Kerketta Sanjib (all India rank 98),Shandilya Rubal (103), Santosh Kumar Mallik (119), Maninder,Singh (128), Pratik Pushkar (128), Mohammad Shadab Khan (153), Milind Seth (155) and Saneesh Mani Mishra (168), will take part in the qualifying round.
All eight qualifiers would make it to the main draw, scheduled to start on November 12. The tournament carries a total purse of 1 lakh.
“All arrangements for the successful conduct of the event have been completed and we are trying our best to make this event a great success,” stated tournament director Nasir Saeed.
