WORLD Vovinam federation has recently on 14th January organized a meeting of International delegates in Ho chi Minh city, Vietnam which is the head quarter of Vovinam. On this occasion WVF awarded Master Grade highest ranking , Red Belt, to shri Dr.Vishnu Sahai who is the president of Indian Vovinam Association. Dr. Sahai is first man from India as well as from South Asia region who received such honor.

Praveen Garg, Gen.Secretary of Vovinam Association of India has also informed that Indian Vovinam Association has also worked to develop Vovinam in native countries as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Srilanka & Nepal so Dr. Sahai will already nominated the President for South Asian Vovinam Federation. Just before the 5Th Asian BEACH GAMES, this award dominating the Indian Vovinam position in Asian Region also.

VAI is going to organize 7th National Vovinam Championship in Guwahati from 22nd – 25th February 2016.Association will select the top players & will organized the camp under Vietnamese coaches for the prepration of up coming 5th Asian Beach Games which will be organized in Vietnam from 24th September to 3rd October 2016.It is a official event will be organized by Vietnam Government under the auspices of Olympic Council of Asia. 45 countries will participate in different 21 games & VOVINAM is also part of the Game.
