London-bound Indian wrestlers served rotten food

New Delhi: Indian national wrestlers received a major shock as rotten food was served to them in their training camp at Sonepat ahead of their London Olympics campaign. It has been reported that the food for them was prepared in a dirty kitchen.

Khajan Singh, who is a member of the sports ministry, expressed his shock saying that he was amazed to see that the juice for the wrestlers were made by rotten fruits in unhygienic condition.

He said that the wrestlers have complained about the quality of food and that there is no medical expert to keep a check on the food that is served to them.

There are many wrestlers who are training at Sonepat which 45 kilometres from the national capital, Delhi. The list of the wrestlers also includes Sushil Kumar, who made India proud by winning a bronze medal at Beijing Olympics.
