Bangladesh Women’s team have made history in Women’s Asia Cup T20 as they beat India Women for the first time by 7 wickets at Kinrara Oval Club, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Batting first India Women posted 141 for 7 in 20 overs. Harmanpreet was the top scorer with 42. Rumana Ahmed picked up 3 wickets for 21.

In reply, Bangladesh were in trouble after losing 3 wickets for 49. Then Fargana Hoque and Rumana Ahmed made an unbeaten 93-run stand in the 4th wicket and sealed victory with 2 balls to spare. Fargana was remained not out on 52 and Rumana was on 42. Poonam took 1 for 21 for India.

Rumana Ahmed was named man of the match for her all-round heroics.
