Williamson, Anderson to Satner: Kiwis who can make a difference in India vs New Zealnd 1st ODI

New Zealand have a tough time ahead as the Indian squad under skipper MS Dhoni seem to continue with the winning momentum that the hosts gained in the conclude Test series. However, New Zealand have players who are capable of taking the game away from their rivals all their own if they get going. 

Let us look at the players of the New Zealand squad who can make a difference.

Kane Williamson: The Kiwi skipper is known for his fighter instinct and his team has improved considerably in limited format of the game since he has taken over the reign from Brandon McCullum. He played an exceptional role as a batsman and captain in the Zimbabwe tour, giving his team an easy win against them. He will have to lead from front to boost up his players after their defeat against India in the Tests. He scored three centuries in 2015. Indian will have to take this man seriously to continue their winning streak. 

Corey Anderson: He has been out of international arena due to injury and will play after his appearance in world T20 cricket. This all rounder can bring a huge difference for New Zealand. His performance in T20 has been phenomenal. He scored with a strike rate of 114.80 which may make a huge difference. He has also been a regular player at IPL and so is aware of the Indian conditions. 

Martin Guptill: This cricketer can be one of the most dangerous batsmen on his given day. He failed to click at the longer format of the game, but in the shorter format, he is definitely a player to watch out for. His best came against Australia where he hit two half centuries. He will have to play some outstanding cricket if New Zealand has to beat India who have with star-studded players.

Mitchell Santner:  He was the only player who could keep India at check in the longer format of the game. He will have to continue to play in the fashion he is known for to motivate fellow New Zealanders to boost up their game against the hosts. He played outstanding cricket in T20 World Cup. He is a player who knows the Indian conditions. His performance of 4 for 11 in T20 World Cup reminds how dangerous he can be as a player.
