Delhi: Bolstered by smashing tons by Abhishek Sharma and Nehal Wadhera, Punjab under-16 team were 403 for 6 on 93 overs in the Vijay Merchant Trophy being played at St Stephen Ground in Delhi on Friday. 

Abhishek Sharma scored 152 off 125 balls and his innings was studded with 23 boundaries and three huge sixes.
Punjab at one stage for 116 for 5, but the sixth-wicket partnership of 166 runs between Nehal Wadhera (unbeaten 110 off 165 balls with 16 boundaries) and Abhishek propelled their innings. The other contribution came from Prabhsimran (66 off 89 balls with 10 boundaries and two sixes). Sumit Shrama was batting on 34 .

For Delhi, Solanki (3 for 63) was the most successful bowler.
