Mumbai: India’s Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan defeated Mate Pavic of Croatia 6-1 6-1 to win the CCI-ITF men's Futures tennis tournament.
It took a little over an hour for the Indian player to outplay his opponent in straight sets. It was the fourth final appearance for Jeevan in Futures and he looked in absolute command.
Jeevan started brilliantly breaking the serve in the second game and then extended his lead to 4-1, he broke again and held his serve to win the first set 6-1.
The second sent went on the same line as Jeevan got the early lead and then finished the game with relative ease.
