New Delhi: Saina Nehwal has regained her second place in the World Badminton Rankings after she made it to the semi-finals of All England Championship. Saina, who slipped to the third spot, last week has moved an inch closer to the top spot.
Meanwhile Parupalli Kashyap was also rewarded for his effort to make it to quarters of All England Championship as he took a jump from the ninth spot to the seventh spot in the latest badminton world ranking on Thursday.
RMV Gurusaidatt and Sourabh Verma also improved their rankings by two and four spots as both of them now stands at 36th and 39th spot respectively. Ajay Jayram has retained his 31st spot. Anand Pawar now has entered to Top-50 and currently standing at 44th spot.
Budding-shuttler PV Sindhu retained her 16th position.
