New Delhi: The 2011 SAFF Championship scheduled to kick-off at the Jawaharal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on December 2, 2011 with the final match slated for December 11, has announced its schedule of matches.
With Eight Play days and two rest days, the SAFF Championship will have two games per day at 3.00 p.m. and 6.00p.m. respectively on all days except on the 11th which will have the final match.
Defending Champions India have been drawn in Group A along with Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bhutan while strong contenders Bangladesh, Maldives and Nepal have been clubbed in Group B with Pakistan.
India begin their campaign on December 3 when they take on Afghanistan in the second match of the day.
Meanwhile, SAFF Championship Tournament Organisers have appointed Kyazoonga as official ticketing partner. Tickets will be available starting tomorrow the 18th of November on www.kyazoonga.com. The ticket counters at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium will be opened starting November 30th. Daily tickets are priced at Rs 150 and Rs 75 respectively.
