Sony Ericsson Open: Nadal in Fourth Round

Miami: World number two Spaniard Rafael Nadal sailed into the fourth round of the Sony Ericsson Open after he defeated Czech Radek Stepanek here on Sunday.

Nadal defeated Stepanek 6-2, 6-2 in straight sets. Nadal’s win has now helped him stretch his unbeaten streak against Stepanek to six matches since 2004.

The Spaniard delivered three aces, won 74 percent on first serve and saved both the match break points of the match that lasted for an hour and 26 minutes.

In other matches, Japan's Kei Nishikori breezed past Czech Lukas Rosol 6-4, 6-2 to set up a fourth round clash against Nadal. Andy Murray of Britain also cruised into the last 16th after his opponent Milas Raonic of Canada withdrew owing to an ankle injury.
