New Delhi: Dipika Pallikal and Joshana Chinappa lost their respective quarter-final matches in the WSF Women's World Team Squash Championship, this bought an end to the Indian challenge in the tournament.
Dipika went down to Raneem El Weleily 14-16 4-11 7-11 and Joshana lost to El Sherbini 7-11 6-11 9-11.
Indian created history when they defeated The Netherlands 2-1 to reach the quarterfinals earlier in the tournament.
This was the third time that the Indian team was taking part in the esteemed tournament.
