Madrid: The seventh seeded Indian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna lost their semifinal encounter against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau 4-6 6-1 7-10 in the ongoing ATP Madrid Masters.
The match that went for one hour and 16 minutes saw both pairs striving hard for a place in the finals.
The Indian pair lost the first set, but came back strongly to win the second set dropping only one game.
The match went down to super tie-breaker where the pair of Lindstedt-Tecau came out victorious.
Bhupathi- Bhupathi was the only chance for India as Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek already lost in the quarter finals.
