New York: India's Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis of Switzerland had an easy day against T. Bacsinszky and Chia-Jung Chuang as they went n to beat the Swiss-Chinese pair 6-1,6-1 to storm into the third round of Us Open Women's doubles here on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in mixed doubles, fourth seeded Leander Paes and Martina Hingis got the better of American pair of Claire Liu Taylor, Harry Fritz 6-2, 6-2 in only 46 minutes to advance to the second round of the category. They now meet unseeded Canadian-Australian pair of Eugenie Bouchard and Nick Kyrgios in the next round.

In another mixed doubles match, Rohan Bopanna and his Chinese Taipei's pair Yung-Jan Chan moved into the second round, beating Spanish-Swiss pair of Fernando Verdasco and Belinda Bencic 6-4, 6-4 in 58 minutes. They now face Russian-Austrian team of Alla Kudryavtseva and Alexander Peya in the second round.
