Stage set for JK Tyre Rotax Karting C'shipNew Delhi: The 9th JK Tyre National Rotax Max Karting Championship came to an exciting finish at Hyderabad today. The championship, which kicked off in June earlier this year at the JK Tyre-MMS Kartainment Track, returned here for the final round in what turned out to be the most competitive races of the season. The day ended with Pradyumn V Danigond (Team Mohites Racing), Krishnaraj Mahadik (Team Mohites Racing) and Ameya Bafna (Team Rayo Racing) being crowned ‘National Karting Champions’ in the Micro Max, Junior Max and Senior Max classes respectively.

Stage set for JK Tyre Rotax Karting C'shipNew Delhi: After four rounds of intense battle and exciting races, the track is all set and the drivers are all geared up for the final face-off to win the coveted title of ‘National Karting Champions’. As the season draws to a close, over 40 young karters from across the country will come together to burn rubber at the Kartainment Track in Hyderabad for the final round of the 9th JK Tyre National Rotax Max Karting Championship on September 22-23, 2012.

The season witnessed a slew of thrilling races and these young drivers are not going to leave any stone unturned to seal the championship title. The winners of the championship will get a lifetime opportunity to represent India at Rotax World Finals to be held in Portugal.

Tata Tea to sponsor Karthikeyan and HRT Formula 1 teamMumbai: Tata Global Beverages (TGB) today announced its brand Tata Tea’s association with Indian Formula 1 driver Narain Karthikeyan and the HRT Formula 1 team for the 2012 Singapore and Indian Grand Prix scheduled from September 21-23 and October 26-28 respectively.

Tata Global Beverages will be extensively promoting the ‘Tata Tea’ brand via this association, with prominent Tata Tea logos appearing on the HRT Formula 1 team car and the helmet worn by Narain Karthikeyan. TGB’s association with Narain Karthikeyan and consequently, Formula 1, will also give it a platform to connect with a large global viewership which is second only to the football world cup.
