Malkeet wins maiden national title for Uttar Pradesh

Malkeet Singh becomes the first player from Uttar Pradesh who has ever won National Title when he won the National Junior Snooker title today in Manisha National Billiards & Snooker Championship 2013 being held at Gymnasium Hall of Jiwaji University, Gwalior (Org. by Gwalior District Billiards and Snooker Association). He defeated all three opponents in round robin league and scored +10 points.

manan-chandraManan Chandra (PSPB) who represents Bharat Petroleum has returned to the game of Billiards and significantly defeated India No.6 Siddharth Parikh of Railways 3-1 in the game of Billiards in Manisha National Billiards & Snooker Championship 2013 being held at Gymnasium Hall of Jiwaji University, Gwalior (Org. by Gwalior District Billiards and Snooker Association). Manan is well known for his performances in the field of snooker and pool. He played the last National Billiards championship in the year 2006 (Chennai).

Indian on number 6 position in U-21 IBSF rankingsNew Delhi: Three Chinese cueists reaching in semi finals of 2012 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker championship helped China to secure 153 ranking points and now China, with total 254 points, stands on top position in 2012 IBSF Ranking for Under-21. China was at No.3 after last year’s performance and had 101 points. The total points are awarded on the performance of countries in 2012 (Wuxi) and 2011 (Montreal) championships.

Thailand is third time retained No.2 position with total 232 points. Prior to this, Thailand stood on Rank 2 after Montreal and Letterkenny Championships.
