
It is a non-contact ball sport played across a net between two teams of seven players on a rectangular court and the team with most points at the end wins the game.
 
Rules of the game
- The players can only use their palm to catch or serve the ball. No other body part can come in contact.
 - When a pass is dropped or not completed (i.e. the ball touches the ground), the other team gets possession.
 - The ball is thrown over the net by the serving team and the receiving team has to catch it and return it back within three seconds.
 - While catching the ball, a player has to be in contact with the court.
 - Two players cannot simultaneously catch the ball.
 - Player can jump while serving the ball. While catching two hands can be used but has to throw it one hand over the shoulder line.
 - No passes are allowed in the game.
 - A maximum of five substitutes cab be used.
 - Two time outs of 30 seconds each can be taken
 - The game consists of three sets of 25 points.
 
Court
- The court size is that is generally used is somewhat larger than a volleyball court at 12.20 by 18.30 metres (40.03 × 60.04 ft) with a neutral box 1.5 metres (4 ft 11.06 in) on either side of the centre.
 - The height of the net is 2.2 metres (7.22 ft).

Fouls
•  There should be a contact with the ball while throwing the ball
•  Player should not use any part of the body apart from the palm.
•  The ball has to be returned within three seconds after catching the ball.
