The Pirates are oozing confidence at the moment. Though they tasted defeat in their last league match at the hands of Telugu Titans, who finished at the second spot in the table, Patna Pirates are still the favorites to win the title. In the first two seasons of PKL, the Pirates were not as successful and they finished third and fourth positions respectively. In season three, they were magnificent and their superb performance helped them win the title. They defeated U Mumba to lift the trophy of Stars Sports Pro Kabaddi League in the third season.
This season as well, Patna Pirates have been the most consistent team from the beginning. At the end of the first two legs, they were the only unbeaten side. The team is looking good in all the departments – Offence, Defence and Raid. As of now, they look invincible. The team spirit is high at the moment and if they continue the way they have been playing in the league so far then they can definitely go on to win the title this season as well and become the two-time champions of PKL!
