I am enjoying the game and I have no plans of retirement: Sachin

New Delhi:  Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has put rest to all speculations about his retirement and said that he has no plans of calling it a day any time sooner and said that he would play as long as he is enjoying the game.

In an interview with CNN-IBN, Sachin said “I think this whole retirement thing is going on from 2006. I am enjoying my cricket and would continue playing as long as I am enjoying it because as long as I am passionate about the sport, it makes sense of being part of team sport if its a individual sport you have various things to think about.”

Talking about his decision to skip Sri Lanka tour he said, “I wanted to spend some time with my family and that is why I spoke to BCCI. Had I decided to go for the Sri Lanka tour, I would have been back home and preparing, which would have not allowed me to spend time with my children.

Tendulkar is in Germany for a promotional event with Adidas.
