Vijender Singh boxingBolton: Indian ring sensation Vijender Singh continued his march towards a huge homecoming fight in India with another explosive knockout win over Poland’s Anderzej Soldra. With six knockout wins in his hands, Vijender is now eyeing title fight to be held in India.

Bhiwani boxer who started his professional career in September 2015, is really excited for his India debut with a title fight.

On his homecoming fight, Vijender Singh said “It’s another win and another step on my journey to the top of the world middleweight scene. I would like to dedicate my sixth knockout win to all Indians across the World. With six wins in a row, I am really excited for my India debut in professional boxing and this is the actual moment for which I was waiting for years. Although I had my first six fights in abroad but the kind of love and support I have got from my Indian friends and fans was amazing and I thank everyone once again for the wishes and love”.

“In the last 8 months I have worked hard both physically and mentally to make my countrymen proud by winning six fights in a row. In the beginning of my professional journey it was not that easy for me to adjust in new atmosphere, trainers and fellow boxers but I tried my best to adapt everything. So far this journey has been really helpful for me and I have learnt a lot new things in my life. I am reaching India Sunday morning and happy to be back” said Vijender Singh.

He added: “Every fight is important for me. I’ve shown everyone in the UK and back home in India what I’m capable of once again and I’m excited for the future. With the backing of Francis Warren and Neerav Tomar and everyone in corner the sky is the limit.”
