Pankaj Advani again shows his experience in World Championship

Pankaj Advani 26Pankaj Advani added another feather to his crown by winning IBSF World Billiards Championship by beating his Chinese opponent Zhua Xintong. Well now his world title count goes onto 15. 


He showed class over his 18-year-old talented opponent and show everybody that experience does count. by winning 8-6 at Sunrise Crystal Bay Resort Egypt. Advani leads first session by 5-2 and looking unstoppable even after the first break, but his opponent tested him and due to Xin sudden aggression the scoreline became 7-6. But then Advani scored a century break and finish it off in style as 8-6.

After the match he said, "I am playing competitive throughout this year and very happy to play both Snooker and Billiards. People who follow cue sport know that it is difficult to deal with both but I love to play both. It is also good to represent India in cue sports, also it just feels top of the world that I can actually win gold medal for country in cue sports".

Asking about his opponent he added, "This guy is phenomenal in attacking. He has such a strong offence that defence was tested. I was going for the point and then he came back with a break and I am standstill. He will become future superstar of billiards and I wish he do that.”

Pankaj Advani didn't say anything about his planning of next year and will be heading towards national-level billiards event.
